SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA - So, I'm writing on my blog again. I admit this is the hardest part of the whole photography process, beside the creativity. It's not that I don't enjoy writing. In fact, I love writing. I love putting materialized words onto paper, er, the computer. But time, time is always a factor for me. It's become an enemy. But that's a matter for a different time.
Right now, you are here perhaps because you were intrigued by the Instagram post and wanted to see more photos from this series. Maybe you simply clicked on the link on this website to view some of our work. Whatever the case may be, thank you for being here.
Let's talk about this shoot.
It's been raining like crazy here in California, and I've been stuck at home with my thoughts. Lately, I've been imagining images in the style of 'Game of Thrones,' which is weird because I've never watched the show. YES! I KNOW! DON'T HANG ME! Anyway, I needed to materialize this shoot and tell a story about it. I've wanted to tell a story through my photography. I thought of blue eyes. Blue eyes like my friend Vivi's. Then I thought of her dog, who would be perfect for this shoot. So Vivi and I got together and headed out to the mountains of San Diego. Unfortunately for us, despite having so much rain, there wasn't much snow. But we did find patches big enough to pull this off. I was super happy with the way these came out.
