SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA - We enjoy telling the story of a whole wedding day, which is why we push the Fleetwood package so much, making it the best-selling package we offer. But there are times when our lovecats don't want two photographers or the pre-ceremony package. This is the reason some choose the Grizzly Bear package, which includes one photographer and only an hour of coverage. There is nothing wrong with that. That's why we have different packages for different people. Fernanda and Moises are one of these couples. The only problem with this package is that it leaves me wanting to do more photography, but that's my problem, I suppose.
The morning of the wedding day, I found myself traveling solo as I drove down the 805 South to meet with Moises at the ceremony in San Diego. It was a weird sensation to travel alone without my co-photographer/wife, Maria, since we always travel together for weddings. Not only that, as I drove through the windy roads of a neighborhood, I found myself also a little nervous. Did I get the wrong address to this Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses? I had to pull over and check my GPS.
"It's only two minutes away," I said to myself. Sure enough, I found the little Kingdom Hall nestled among the houses in the community. I was excited about this wedding. I wanted to see Moises and Fernanda. The last time I saw them was at their engagement session. I knew they were both going to look amazing.
I was right.
After a beautiful ceremony, we headed to the reception venue and photographed the family before heading out to the beach near The Coronado Hotel. These two romantic loves were so awesome together. Moises, with his spot-on look, and Fernanda, being as gorgeous as she is. The ideas for romantic poses came instantly. It was easy to feed off their romance and good looks. It was a breeze.
We arrived at the venue to celebrate their union. The venue itself looked amazing! One of the main things I love about Jehovah's Witness weddings is that, for the most part, the members of the congregation lend a hand, from decorating to helping out with the food, and it all looks top-notch!
The reception vibes were full of love and happiness, from the guests to the newlyweds. The beautiful guests shared in the love that these two have. Even though I was only there for an hour, it was super amazing. Especially when Moises surprised Fernanda with a cover of Adam Sandler's "Grow Old With You." It was a great way to say goodbye as they celebrated their love. These two are amazing people, and we hope they continue to grow in that love.
