OCEANSIDE, CALIFORNIA - Besides her heart and her beauty, the talent my wife possesses to capture the moments as they happen also is what drew me to her as well. Recently, we were messaged by Melissa and booked us for a family shoot. We set this session up in Oceanside where we had done a family session once before, and it became the backdrop of one of our most iconic photos.
I'm not going to pretend and tell you a story of the session because I wasn't there. I usually let my wife just let her do her thing. When she arrives back home, she chooses the photos to preview and edits them and sends them to our customers. Then I choose the photos for her and edit them in the same style she had chosen.
What I will tell you is that, as I was working on the photos, they touched my heart. I could feel that this shoot was something special for Melissa and her kids. I felt like they needed this day, this shoot to be done the way my wife directed to be with no direction. Just a loving, hard-working mom who is making time with her two favorite people in the world. A glimpse of what a perfect world would be if life didn't consume so much of our time with responsibilities, a free world. I am certain, without a shadow of doubt, that this session will forever be in their memories. Great job, love.
