ESCONDIDO, CALIFORNIA - Finally, I am back to writing blogs about the shoots we've done! We have been busy working on transferring over customers' galleries and passion projects to our new website. We are really enjoying the features that Zenfolio has introduced in their new service.
A moment of silence for our old website that is no longer with us...
Enough of that, let's talk about one of our first passion projects of the year with our dear friend Sandy. We decided to collaborate with one of our prettiest friends and do a fairytale-themed portrait session. We are suckers for this style of shoot and we will not miss an opportunity to photograph anyone with big dresses like these. As a matter of fact, we encourage our customers to indulge themselves and go big. The results are too amazing, as you can see here.
Wardrobe is so important because it takes the shoot to a whole different world, a fantasy, if you may. It gives it a completely different vibe from the ordinary shoots you see on Instagram. It's a whole different level of photography.
I just love this style, and if I could, I would do most of my shoots in this style. It excites me, and I get lost in it. It's the next best thing after wedding portraits.
My wife also dabbled a little in this project, but she went with a completely different tone. My wife and I have similar tastes, but she tends to do things a little differently, as you can see below. Her work is amazing.
