MENIFEE, CALIFORNIA - Have I preached to the bone how important chemistry is when doing wedding photography between the photographer and the couple? Well, it is! The wedding of Kayla and Jordan is a great example of this. Ever since I photographed their engagement session back in October of 2023, I knew this was going to be an awesome experience for both us and them. These two are so cool! I wanted needed to be their wedding photographer to make our portfolio look even cooler!

We arrived at Kayla's home, where every bridesmaid was gathered around the bride-to-be. They were sharing stories that brought laughter—stories about everything! It was nice to be there as Kayla was getting her hair and makeup done. Once we captured that and some details of the flower arrangements, we headed out to the venue where the ceremony and reception would be held at The Orchard by Wedgewood Weddings in Menifee. Both Kayla and Jordan would be getting ready—in separate quarters, of course. Both camps had a fun energy that made it easy to capture the vibe, all because they were so comfortable with us. This comfort allowed them to lower their walls and let us do what we do best.

The energy from the pre-ceremony moments carried on to the guests at the ceremony because the source of it came from these two lovebirds. Kayla and Jordan not only welcomed us into their love but also all their guests who were invited to this once-in-a-lifetime occasion. From Jordan's father, who gave the ceremony talk, to the staff at the venue, everyone was influenced by the love and happiness of these two. It was a lovely ceremony, perfectly suited for the love they shared.

After delivering a great engagement session for these two, I knew I needed to stay on point and make sure their wedding portraits captured the essence of their day and their love. I think I nailed it.

Party time! After photographing the bridal party and family, the party began! It was incredibly amazing, with a non-stop sequence of laughter and emotional moments through the whole reception. From a surprise Kayla's grandparents arranged to the dance floor filled with crazy uncles showing off their moves, it was so much fun to capture. Trust me—time flew by! The result was the creation of beautiful, lasting memories for Kayla and Jordan. This day was a gift in itself, and we were so honored to be the ones to photograph it. We wish Kayla and Jordan, two best friends and lovers, nothing but the best in their journey together!
