We arrived bright and early at Nancy and Martin's home near Downtown San Diego, where the bustle of last-minute preparations filled the air. Nancy, still attending to final details, was soon to embark on her transformation into the bride. Despite our early arrival, Nancy's decision to get ready at the reception venue, The Sinclair on G Street, added a sense of urgency to the already tight schedule. Admittedly, working under such pressure has its own thrill.
As Martin arrived at the venue and began his preparations, Maria, my co-photographer and also known as Lady Black Rider, captured stunning shots of the rustic-Mexican themed details. From the traditional Mexican candy to the handmade clay plates, every element reflected Nancy's vision impeccably.
Yet, amidst the flurry of activity, the clock relentlessly ticked away. Where was the bride?
Finally, Nancy arrived, and in a whirlwind of minutes, she was adorned in her dress and whisked away to the church where she and Martin exchanged vows.
