IN STUDIO, SAN MARCOS, CALIFORNIA - We love the '50s era of style. It was glamorous. It was classy. It was beautiful, and I am glad I pulled the trigger some years ago to start offering this service once every season. It's a way for a person to feel like a million dollars, especially when you align yourself with beauty experts like Lety and Amanda, who specialize in hair and makeup from this era.
For this 2-hour time slot, we had Patricia grace our studio. She approached this session with a bit of doubt about whether she could pull off such glamour. We gave her a glass of wine as she walked in and let our beauty experts pamper her and magnify her beauty. But the doubt doesn't fully go away until a couple of snaps in front of the camera. Once she saw what I saw, you could see her transformation as she becomes more confident in front of the camera.
That is what this is all about. It's a way to celebrate yourself. Why wouldn't you? You are magnificent.
