The first wedding of the year! What a way to start 2023 by photographing Caitlyn & Joseph in Ramona, California!
What a day it was, not to cold, not to warm, it was perfect for a wedding day. We had some annoying clouds that changed our lighting settings constantly but it was beautiful nevertheless.
We arrived arrived at Mountain Valley Ranch early morning to capture some moments of Caitlyn and Joseph getting ready for their beautiful day. Walking into that room, you can feel the excitement of the day with the girls laughing and chattering up about the events to come. Meanwhile, in the groomside, Joseph, it was more of a relaxed environment. The guys were having a beer or two, sitting in the porch and taking in the fresh country air that Ramona is known for.
There is always a calm before the ceremony, until the suit is on. The wait can be nerve-wracking for a groom when he is there waiting for the bride to finish. But the wait, is worth it. We all know the magic that is happening in the other side as the fiancee becomes the bride.
To me the very beginning of the ceremony is like the part of the whole rollercoaster experience where you are just sitting in that car waiting for the ride to start. The excitement can be too much. Specially, when you see everyone sitting down waiting for the ceremony to begin.
Caitlyn and Joseph wedding was no exception. But Caitlyn took it a step higher. She made an unforgettable entrance on her horse she has had since her younger days. It was a sign of things to come on this beautiful wedding day. The ceremony was incredibly beautiful.
And now comes our favorite part of a wedding day. The wedding portraits. We had so much to work with at the ranch and we were going to take advantage of it.
Let the dancing, the laughing, the tears, the smiles begin. At the barn, Caitlyn and Joseph's friends were waiting at the barn to begin the celebrations. It was a barn full of love and happiness.
We congratulate these two lovebirds on their wedding day and thank them for giving us the sweet honor of being their wedding photographers. We hope nothing but more love between these two.
