Studio portraits is one of the most underrated types of photography. Thanks to JCPenny and malls one can easily believe that these type of shoots are cheesy, but, there has been many artistic photographers that have given a different spin to this genre. These other photographers have made me feel in love with the genre. So I decided to do a test shoot with Alyssa to see if this is something I would like to add to our services.
What I love about these shoots it's that I have control of the lighting. It's all about the positioning of them and what mood you are to portray. Now, let me be clear this isn't my first try working in our studio. I've worked in our studio for years now. But now, I want to be more artistic about it. Really, break my walls that I am comfortable with. I want to do more with the person I am photographing and try different poses.
